Calder Kamin
Recycling artist Calder Kamin was the Artist in Residence at the property Shelby at Northside located at 1852 E Northside Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76106.
An Austin, Texas native, her creative reuse art projects and public workshops have traveled to museums across the US. She recently partnered with Disney to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Little Mermaid to inspire audiences to transform trash into art.
Not only did Calder offer art classes for kids and adults, Drink and Draw events, crafts and holiday themed classes, she also developed a recycling center to encourage residents to reflect on the importance of reusing waste and the possibility to create beauty from discarded items.
