“I absolutely love having Jacoub as our resident artist. He’s very knowledgeable and creates a supportive environment for anyone to come have fun and learn. He has been great at creating a safe space and always makes sure each person feels as if they are an artist on the rise who could eventually have their pieces in exhibit. One of many things that stand out about him is whenever you tell him you want to learn something or have an interest he will make sure to make a space for you to curate that. When I first started I was very shy, but he has helped immensely in my confidence and ability to make friends. I really do love him as our resident artist as well as love to hear about all the projects he has coming down the pipeline. I could go on and on, but at his core he’s just an inspiring person to be around. Thank you for bringing him to the team and I hope he gets to stay on longer.

“Art is a passion of mine and for a few years I did not engage in any activities due to busy work/life schedule. You reminded me of how much fun and relaxing it is to sit with a group of friends and enjoy art. I must say Austin (Slim) is really great and very patient. Most of all he makes everybody comfortable and let them work on their own pace. He encourages them to do better and show students different types of techniques and mediums to work with. In the end all I can say is keep up the good work guys!”
