Izabella Paris
Izabella Paris is the Artist in Residence at the Broadway Chapter Apartments and the owner and operator of Carnation Artworks, a creative business specializing in painting and thoughtfully curated art experiences. Through her residency, Izabella brings engaging, hands-on creative events to the community, inviting residents to paint, connect, and create meaningful artwork together.
Art has been a lifelong passion for Izabella, inspired by her great-grandfather, Joe Somma, a painter known for his lighthouse and floral works. When he passed, he entrusted her with many of his art supplies—an early gift that helped her begin creating and continues to influence her practice today. His legacy lives on in every piece she paints, grounding her work in family, memory, and shared creativity.
