Nelia Barandica is an emerging creative and the Artist in Residence at Deseo Grande. A recent graduate of the University of Central Florida’s College of Arts and Humanities, Nelia holds a degree in arts management and brings an ambitious, growth-minded approach to both her craft and her career. Her work is rooted in exploration—continually seeking new mediums, embracing innovation, and blending creative practice with entrepreneurship. Through her residency, Nelia is excited to foster meaningful community engagement through the arts, inspire residents to pursue their own forms of creativity, and build lasting relationships within a vibrant, supportive creative community.
