Rachel Lubeck
Rachel Lubeck is a multidisciplinary artist and ecological steward whose work explores relationships between biodiversity, symbolism, atmosphere, and the unseen patterns connecting people and the natural world. Working across painting, environmental design, and community-centered creative practice, her work is deeply informed by ongoing engagement with native landscapes, observation, and ecological stewardship.
Rachel received her BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where her studies and years working in the woodshop deepened her relationship to material process, construction, and spatial thinking. Over time, her practice expanded beyond the studio into public art, biodiversity-focused landscapes, collaborative cultural projects, and immersive creative environments shaped by both ecological awareness and symbolic exploration.
Alongside her personal practice, Rachel is the founder and director of the American Landmark Artist-in-Residence program, helping integrate artists into multifamily communities through murals, workshops, and creative programming across multiple states. Through both her artwork and community-centered projects, she hopes to encourage greater attentiveness to native ecologies, environmental stewardship, and the interconnected relationships between people and the living systems around them.
