Ryan Otero

Ryan Christopher Otero is the Educator in Residence at The Lynx in San Antonio, Texas. With more than a decade of experience in education, Ryan is passionate about helping students and families build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and discover new opportunities for learning.

Ryan currently serves as principal at Promesa Academy in San Antonio, bringing extensive experience in instructional coaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship across Texas schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and Texas educator certifications in English Language Arts, Reading, and English as a Second Language (ESL).

As an Educator in Residence, Ryan is dedicated to making educational resources more accessible to residents of all ages. Through academic tutoring, college and career preparation, bilingual learning support, and community workshops, he creates opportunities for residents to strengthen their skills and work toward their personal and educational goals.

Ryan believes education extends beyond the classroom and looks forward to building meaningful connections with neighbors while fostering a welcoming community where learning and personal growth are encouraged.
